Ecuador

It is logical that we begin with a country named after the equator - Ecuador. 

This South American country is on the Pacific coast, between Peru and Colombia, and has a very diverse landscape, 

consisting of the jungles of the Amazon, the highlands of the Andes, and the famous Galapagos Islands. 

Here you can hang out on any of the beaches along the west coast, or explore the Spanish colonial center 

in the capital of Quito, where churches and monasteries of the 17th century are preserved.

Brazil

Technically, the equator only passes through the northern part of Brazil, but we still consider Brazil an equatorial country. 

Brazil is a popular tourist destination for many reasons - there are amazing beaches, generous sun, magnificent beaches, 

the Amazon River and the Amazon jungle, and of course the annual carnival in Rio de Janeiro.

Sao Tome

On the west coast of Africa in the Gulf of Guinea is a small island of Sao Tome. 

The whole island is a giant shield volcano that rises up from the Atlantic Ocean, sticking out of the water. 

And although the volcano is still active, it will not cause inconvenience to tourists in the near future. 

Here tourists rest! You will find on the island a lot of chocolate and coffee (the main export of Sao Tome), 

as well as many palm products and seafood. 

Enjoy the calm way of local residents - let the way of life of Leve Leve (roughly translated as "calm down") 

will allow you to wander along the sandy coast or stroll through the busy jungle.

Congo

In Africa there are two Congo: the Republic of the Congo and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. 

Both states are in Central Africa and gained independence from European colonialism in 1960. 

The Republic of the Congo is the smaller of the two states and is located closer to the ocean (although both 

have a limited stretch of the Atlantic coast). Both countries have extensive jungles full of rich biodiversity.

Maldives

This collection of coral atolls in the Indian Ocean, known throughout the world for its chic lagoons and reefs.

 The tropical climate makes the islands an ideal place for tourists coming here in search of recreation, sun and water. 

In the capital, travelers will find a lively and extensive fish market with local restaurants and shops.

Indonesia

This island state is one of the most incredible places in all of Southeast Asia. 

This is an excellent option for travelers who want to see a lot in life: bright blue coastal waters, richly decorated temples,

 impressive volcanoes, mosques, warm sandy beaches, breathtaking lagoons, green rice fields, playful monkeys and 

much more. Each island in Indonesia has its own characteristics.

Kiribati

Moving west along the equator, we came to an island that floats in the middle of the great Pacific almost alone - Kiribati. 

This small archipelago consists of 33 coral atolls, most of which are uninhabited. 

Uninhabited and isolated are ideal for serious fishermen, ornithologists and diving enthusiasts.
