미래지향적인 중국의 건축 걸작교량 6 본문
미래지향적인 중국의 건축 걸작교량 6
1. The bending pedestrian bridge Ruyi glass Bridge over the abyss (length 100 meters)
In 2020, in Zhejiang province, the breathtaking Ruyi glass Bridge was inaugurated, in the existence of which few people still believe.
The reason for this attitude was the fantastic design of the meandering pedestrian platforms that hovered 140 meters above the deep ravine.
Despite the fact that this unreal tourist ferry is called glass, fortunately for most visitors, not the entire platform is transparent, but
only in the center of the attraction so that extreme lovers can get their portion of adrenaline.
For the rest, it is enough to walk along the ornate paths above the cliff (with transparent railings) and the breathtaking picturesque nature, which can be admired from a bird's eye view. For the sake of fairness, it must be said that the unrealistic shape of the bridge, installed between the tops of the mountains, attracted about 200 thousand tourists in the shortest possible time, and this despite the pandemic and quarantine restrictions.

2. The Hutong Yangtze River Bridge - a two-level bridge with a length of 11,072 m
Despite the impending pandemic, which forced all construction to stop, another bridge was opened in Jiangsu province, connecting the Zhangjiagang-Nantong highway and the Shanghai-Nantong high-speed railway line. The strategically important object, which reduced the route from 3.5 hours to 1 hour, has fantastic characteristics. The total length of the bridge is 11,072 m, with a width of 22.5 m, the height of the main pylon reaches 330 m (110-storey building) with the length of the main span - 1092 m. The last two positions are world records (relative to cable-stayed bridges). Due to its weighty dimensions, the two-component crossing provides 6 highway lanes (on the upper level) and 4 lines for railway transport (on the lower level).
Advantages of the facility: Since this is one of the last grandiose bridges put into operation (20.06.2020), it is not surprising that a number of innovative technologies were used during its construction. Among them, it is possible to note: a system for preventing collisions of a ship with a support (the notification is triggered in 3 km), the use of steel cables with the highest tensile strength (in the world), reinforced supports that allow to withstand a typhoon of 13 points and impact force (in case of a ship accident) weighing up to 100 thousand tons.

3. Suspension road bridge Beipanjiang or Duge crossing the Beipanjiang River (length 1341 m)
A modern person is already used to extreme suspension pedestrian bridges, but if we imagine that cars are racing at a height of 564 m above the ground at a speed of 80 km per hour, then most of us will definitely feel uncomfortable. But for the province of Guizhou, this sky-high attraction was extremely necessary, because its entire territory is a continuous “roller coaster” and, in order to connect
some regions, one has to resort to large-scale and very costly construction.
It is noteworthy: In just 3 years, Chinese engineers and bridge builders in the most difficult terrain conditions managed to build the highest suspension bridge in the world with a length of 1341 km, which to this day is considered one of the most technically complex and unique engineering objects in the world.
An interesting fact from Novate.ru: 50 years ago, in China, specialists from the Soviet Union were invited to build bridges. In close cooperation, the first grand bridge was built across the Yangtze River, which laid the foundation for the bridge building industry. Now in the country, local companies annually build at least a thousand crossings of varying complexity and length. It is also worth noting that Chinese bridge building companies are involved in projects implemented in many countries around the world.
Above the Clouds: In the provinces, you can drive your car across the world's tallest suspension bridge (Beipanjiang bridge)

4. Sea bridge connecting Hong Kong, Zhuhai and Macau (length 55 km)
The bridge of incredible complexity is one of those structures that have broken records in several nominations for the title of "very best". It is difficult to list all the innovative implementations used in the construction of a gigantic object that connected Hong Kong -
Zhuhai - Macau above and below the water surface of the South China Sea.
The most complex complex, although it did not break the distance record (total length 55 km), nevertheless strikes with underwater tunnels, artificial islands and unprecedented structures that can withstand the onslaught of elements and man-made disasters. The developers promise that the bridge complex is able to withstand 8-point earthquakes, powerful hurricanes and typhoons, and even in collisions with multi-ton ships.

The 7 km long tunnel is the longest in the world
5. Over-Water highway - bridge along the river bed (4 km long)
In the province of Hubei province, an amazing bridge was built that follows the intricate turns of the river bed. The Over-Water highway, designed to significantly shorten the path between hard-to-reach settlements, became a stumbling block (local farmers refused to sell their land), which led to a change in the project. Despite such a scandalous beginning, the bridge only benefited from the changes, as it turned out to be the first structure in the world that goes along the river, not across it. At the moment, the Over-Water highway bridge is the main attraction of the region, because few can boast of such sightseeing excursions and a lot of incredible impressions from an ordinary car trip.

6. Zhuchanghe Bridge - 672 meter girder bridge over the deep gorge of the Zhuchang River
The impressive girder bridge that spans the Zhuchang River (hence its name - Zhuchanghe Bridge) is the second tallest curved bridge in the world (after the Millau Viaduct in France) with a maximum span of 200 meters between supports. It is currently one of the 60 highest crossings over a deep V-shaped gorge. Its maximum height is 224 meters. It is difficult to imagine how to travel across the bridge when there is a 70-meter skyscraper under you, nevertheless, it connected the Shanghai-Kunming expressway, which greatly facilitated the journey.
Structural features: During the construction of the object, which is most difficult from a technical point of view, prestressed reinforced concrete structures were used, which have super strength and resistance to external influences. Unlike most multi-level girder bridges in China and the world, the lower part of the Zhuchanghe Bridge pylons is solid, and the upper part is bifurcated, with thinner shapes. This will allow you to easily resist the raging waters of the river, which in a dry season is more like a trickle, but during a flood turns into a roaring stream, sweeping away everything in its path.
