세계에서 인간이 만든 가장 작은 개체 10

1.The smallest production car

Peel P50 bears the title of the smallest car.

Launched in 1962, the car was touted as the ideal vehicle for driving through narrow city streets.

The P50 measures just 137 centimeters long and 99 centimeters wide and weighs 58 kilograms.

In the 1960s, engineering company Peel said it was large enough to accommodate "one adult passenger and a shopping bag."
If you like tiny vintage cars, you can buy the P50 again.

Peel Engineering began producing the P50 to order in 2010.

2. The smallest firearm

No, this is not a Western Derringer. The smallest functional pistol ever made is the SwissMiniGun Miniature Revolver C1ST.
The revolver is just over 5 centimeters long and fires conventional 2.34 mm rounds.

Incidentally, it is also the world's smallest rimfire cartridge.
The pistol works in the same way as a regular revolver, although it is mostly sold as a collectible.

Unfortunately for US gun collectors, C1ST imports are illegal - too small to qualify as legal firearms in the States.

3.The smallest computer

We have come a long way since the first computers filled the world.

But the University of Michigan has taken microcomputers to a whole new level - their smallest computer measures just 0.3mm on

each side.
In comparison, it is less than a grain of rice.

However, it is a little questionable if this thing is considered a computer, as it does not save any programs when shut down.

But that's okay, as UoM also claims to be the smallest truly certified computer.

Michigan Micro Mote is a complete, functional computer system measuring only two by four millimeters.

4.Smallest lighter

There are many companies on the Internet claiming to sell the world's smallest lighter.

But the smallest lighter - at least according to the Guinness Book of Records - was made in Spain in 2011.
Designed by José Pérez Richart, the lighter measures 6mm by 11mm and 2.4mm.

Made of brass, the lighter is fully functional with a 4cc fuel tank. mm.

5.The smallest plane

The Bumble Bee II was custom built to claim the title of the smallest aircraft in the world.

He achieved what he set out to do - Guinness World Records certified the Bumble Bee II as the smallest aircraft built in 1988.
The aircraft was only 2.5 meters long and had a wingspan of 1.6 meters.

Experts at the time said that it was very similar to its namesake, as its wings were too small to fly efficiently in accordance with

the laws of aerodynamics.
It turned out that they were right.

The plane's creator, Robert H. Starr, crashed the plane on its maiden flight, but luckily he survived and won the record title.

6.Smallest advertisement

The smallest advertisement in the world was made to promote cutting edge technology.

We would say that they succeeded.
The announcement was made by Dutch semiconductor manufacturer ASML.

Measuring 33 microns wide and less than 8 microns long, ASML etched it onto a tiny silicon wafer.
Through advertising, the company wanted to increase brand awareness among technical students.

The ad reads: "To get small, you have to think about the big #Smallest_AD ASML."

7. The smallest country

Yes, we consider countries to be human creations. After all, they do not occur in nature.
The title of the smallest sovereign country goes to the Vatican.

It has an area of 0.19 square miles and a population of about 500.
You could find smaller countries if you started counting some of the one man micronations, such as the Principality of Sealand.

But we have added to the list the countries with international recognition.

8.Smallest work phone

Cell phone manufacturers have tried to keep them small, but in recent years, phone sizes have started to grow again.

This means that neither Apple nor Samsung will get the title.
Instead, the world's smallest work phone was made by Jan Piotr Krutevich in the USA in 1996.

The phone is only 4.5 centimeters long and 0.76 centimeters wide.
How did they even check if it works? We cannot imagine that making a call using this thing is very easy.

9. Smallest sculpture

The smallest sculpture in the world is also the smallest man-made object ever created. At least for now.
The sculpture entitled "Trust" depicts a nude female figure. Its height is 100 microns, and is equal to the width of a human hair.

It took South African artist and engineer Jonty Hurwitz 10 months to create the sculpture.

During this time, he used 250 cameras to 3D scan his model.

10.The smallest snowman

The smallest snowman in the world is also the smallest man made object ever created.

It was completed by Canadian Todd Simpson of Western University Nanofabricated Product in 2016.

He created a "snowman" from silica spheres and platinum hands.

The little guy is only 3 micrometers tall.

When the snowman was first created in 2005, it only had a body and arms.

However, Simpson felt he could do a smile on his face, so he added facial features in 2016.
