1.Paris


   Paris is a worthy destination for a leisurely exploration, although it might take a few days to see everything it has to offer.

   Walk along the River Seine to enjoy the breathtaking Tuileries Gardens as well as the Louvre, before reaching Notre Dame 

   Cathedral and Ile de la Cité.

   You can also relax in any of the many bars and bistros before visiting Paris's iconic landmark, an hour's walk away, the Eiffel Tower.     Don't forget to pass the narrow, winding streets of Montmartre, cafes and the charming Sacre Coeur, which is one of the most

   romantic places in Paris.

 

 

2.New York


   New York City is one of the most walkable places in the United States.

   With Manhattan's numbered streets and New York City's Time Square pedestrianized square, it's no doubt fun to explore on foot.       Walk the iconic streets of Fifth Avenue, as well as the Brooklyn Bridge all the way to Hill Clinton for a glimpse of its historic and         beautiful homes.

   In addition, another must-see place is Central Park, which you have seen more than once in numerous American films.

 

 

3.Marrakesh  


   The Medina of Marrakech is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to numerous historical sites and convenient to explore on foot.

   A must-see for the bazaars of Marrakech is the labyrinthine alleys where you can find Berber carpet weavers, exotic spices and           brightly colored babushki. Walking south, you will enter the ruins of the 16th century El Badi Palace, the famous Jemaa El Fnaa           square, where you can see festivals, food stalls and street performers.

   And to enjoy the peace and quiet, visit the beautiful Menara olive gardens in the west.

 

 

4.Florence


   Given the traffic in the historic center of Florence, the city authorities urge you to explore on foot. It is often compared to an

   open-air museum.

   Florence is home to many historic sites that are just a short walk from each other. Starting from the famous landmark - Catedrale       de Santa Maria del Fiore, to the bridge that was saved during the German bombing during the Second World War called Ponte         Vecchio, and ending with Piazza Michelangelo, which offers a breathtaking view of the town and the neighboring Tuscan                   countryside. Numerous bars, restaurants and cafes offer a great place to relax your tired legs.

 

 

5.Vancouver  


   Vancouver may be the third largest city in Canada, but it is a walker's paradise.

   In fact, thanks to the active transport plan and the recently launched pedestrian search maps, walking is really very convenient

   here.   

   Famous city tours include the False Creek Walk to Granville Island, where you can pop in and buy locally grown and fresh

   produce at the public market.

   Stanley Park is a 1,000-acre park that can be reached from the city.

   Boasting mostly artwork, the scenic views and its magnificent Lost Lagoon are considered first-class urban parks in North America.     On the other hand, walking across the Lyons Gate towards North Vancouver gives pedestrians breathtaking views of the sea

   and city.


 


6.Melbourne


   Melbourne is Australia's second-largest city, a contrasting place where Victorian architecture nestles among city parks and sparkling     skyscrapers meet a magnificent bay.

   Start with views of the Yarra River and greenery as you walk from Alexandria Gardens to the magnificent Royal Botanic Gardens.         Alternatively, walk through Melbourne's CBD, historic arcade and alleyways, home to trendy boutiques, cafes, bars and must-see         spots like the old Melbourne Jail.
 

7.Buenos Aires


   Buenos Aires is the capital of Argentina, also known as the “Paris of South America”, known for its magnificent European-style           architecture, vibrant culture and diverse neighborhoods. If you are an art lover, you should take a stroll around Barrio La Boca.

   It highlights the museum-like street of Caminito, with its houses brightly painted by the talents of local artist Quinkela Martin

   and the modern private art gallery Fundacion Proa. Recoleta is the epitome of the prestigious neighborhoods of Buenos Aires,

   a stroll through its magnificent parks and streets reveals sights including Floralis Generica, a mobile steel flower sculpture by             architect Eduardo Catalano and the burial site of Evita Peron.

 

8.Dubrovnik 


   The entire urban area of ​​Dubrovnik is a pedestrian zone, so there is no reason not to explore this place on foot.

   Dubbed the "pearl of the Adriatic", it is located on the main street, Stradun, from where you can reach several of the city's                 attractions such as the magnificent Onofrio's fountain, medieval walls, the old picturesque port, and its 16th century Sponza palace.     Even outside the old city border, Dubrovnik can be easily explored on foot, and the Lapad Peninsula is a must-see.

   A walk along the coastline reveals local gems such as the beautiful Copacabana Beach. Hiking up the hills of Velikaya Petka and         Malaya Petka can be difficult, but its breathtaking views are worth seeing.

 

 

9.Vientiane


   Vientiane is the capital of Laos. It is located on the banks of the Mekong River and is a mixture of Lao and French cultures.

   It is a great city to walk, thanks to its tree-lined streets and tranquil nature. Start at Lao's most valuable monument, a stunning           gold-plated Buddhist stupa. Walk to the Patuxari Monument, whose design is based on the Arc de Triomphe of Paris, which               incorporates the traditional Lao concept. Climbing to the top reveals a magnificent view of the capital.

   From this point of view, another important Buddhist site is the Sisaket temple. Restaurants of various cultures where you can

   relax are within walking distance.

 

 

10.Boston


   Boston is a place where many walking paths show the city's rich culture and history.

   Boston Waterfront is a 60 km long walking path that is best explored in sections, although some pedestrians pass by local                 attractions such as Christopher Columbus Park and the Institute of Contemporary Art.

   The Freedom Trail is more accessible and history buffs will enjoy walking past attractions such as the Bunker Hill Monument and

   the Royal Chapel. A detour of the Boston Beacon Hill Historic District is a must, so pedestrians can catch a glimpse of the cobbled     alley on Acorn Street, the highest photographed location in the United States.
