1.Grand Prismatic 

 The largest hot spring in the United States and the third largest in the world.

The source was opened in 1871 and named so because of the variety of its colors.

2.Crested Pool . 

A source with a depth of about 12 meters, a feature of which is a ridge of sediments surrounding it.

3.Cistern spring  

The source suddenly appeared in 1966 and, due to active gas emissions, almost destroyed all the vegetation around itself.

4.Doublet Pool . 

This source is 2.4 meters deep and at a temperature of about 90 degrees, located in the upper geysers area of ​​Yellowstone Park.

About once every two hours, the source releases a small amount of water, after which it again subsides.

5.Sapphire Pool  

Named so because of its resemblance to a sapphire gem. one of the hottest springs in the park.

Its temperature is about 96 degrees. 

After the earthquake of 1959, actively threw up boiling water columns up to a height of 45 meters, but in 1968 emissions suddenly stopped.
