세계에서 생활환경이 가장 열악한곳 25

Greenland

The rocky coastline of this country is covered with ice, which can reach three kilometers thick.

This ice cap causes the country's population to huddle on a narrow rocky coastline.

Changtang Region, Tibet

Despite the short summer, the arctic winds and hail in this part of the Tibetan plateau, half a million people, known as the Changpa

people, call this place their home.

Many follow their ancestors through the harsh migration routes to find grass for their livestock, which often means that they have to

camp in tents on stony cliffs under these severe weather conditions.

Northern Siberia

This Russian region became populated by people in connection with the discovery of rich deposits of oil, gas and minerals.

However, the weather here is still as severe as before.

In some places, the temperature can reach 38 degrees Celsius in summer and drop to -60 degrees in winter.

Central Australia.

Harsh sun, barren soil and dry weather. Practically unbearable conditions of existence.

It is therefore surprising that it holds the human population in this desert, which occupies most of central Australia.

Sahara Desert

Few people call this place home, and only nomads, such as Tuareg, managed to survive in these desert sands, engaged in hunting

and raising their cattle on sparse vegetation.

Antarctica

During the summer season, the population of this icy continent increases to 4,000 people, as researchers and their teams work

in research stations in more or less acceptable summer weather.

During the winter, about 1000 researchers remain to spend the winter at the stations when the temperature outside can reach

 -70 degrees Celsius.

Bangui, Central African Republic

Neighborhoods located in low-lying places in Bangui are under threat of constant, severe flooding. Residents here also suffer from

regular civil unrest and coup attempts and from their local military.

Conakry, Guinea

Here often there are interruptions in water, due to drought and deterioration of water.

Traffic lights are turned off in the city at night, which further threatens the already fragile infrastructure of the city.

Baghdad, Iraq

This city and its infrastructure caused serious damage due to the war and numerous terrorist attacks that have continued to the present.

It is one of the most hospitable places in the world, and also one of the worst in quality of life.

Port-au-Prince, Haiti

On the slopes of the hills overlooking the wealthy neighborhoods of the city, there are many slums, and in 2010 its infrastructure

suffered serious damage due to a strong earthquake.

Motuo, China

It can be shown to someone beautiful to live in solitude, but the residents of this isolated Chinese village do not think so.

The village lacks almost fully modern amenities, no electricity, no access to canned food, and no access to any medical care,

which makes life difficult for the local population.

Muli, Faroe Islands

This small town is located on the Faroe Islands belonging to Denmark.

Muli and the Faroe Islands as a whole are known for unpredictable weather, heavy rains, storms, fogs and snow that can occur

all year round.

The landscape that surrounds this small town is gloomy, has poor vegetation or natural materials.

Minqin, China

This city now has only 90 kilometers of usable fertile land. Worse, there is a huge water shortage due to the drying up of

the Shiyan River, and the Bidane deserts Yaran and Tengger approach the city at a speed of about 10 meters per year.

Cherkarunji, India

This city is the wettest place on earth. During the wet months, an increase in humidity in the air causes heavy precipitation,

which can be measured up to a thousand inches each year.

Laos

This country is becoming poorer and poorer as its regime becomes more and more depressing.

For the past few years, people here have been experiencing hunger, while crop failures in rice crops have led to a decrease

in food consumption by 14–25%. Many rely on outside help to survive.

Myanmar (Burma)

After the coup and the renaming of Burma to Myanmar, the country is ruled by one of the most stringent government junts in the world.

Human rights are apparently not respected here, especially for Muslims who are subjected to oppression and humiliation.

Mozambique

This country is still known for massive cases of AIDS and malaria.

In addition, Mozambique suffers from a lack of safe drinking water, despite the fact that tons of aid from the UN are delivered here

annually.

Nepal

This is a particularly harsh place to live if you are a woman.

Here women marry and have children as young as 14 years old.

Also a large number of young women here die during childbirth due to lack of proper medical care.

Sex trade is flourishing in Nepal, girls who are not married are being enslaved by the time they turn 18.

Sierra Leone

War and poverty practically determine the basic indicators of this small country in Africa.

The country is getting poorer every year, and no one likes living here.

Chad

Currently, the territory of this country is the main source of water in Central Africa - Lake Chad.

However, this source began to gradually dry up, causing this African nation to suffer from drought and famine.

Add to this the overwhelming number of refugees from Darfur entering the country, and you will understand how hard it is to live here.

Democratic Republic of Congo

Decades of war and genocide are tearing apart this African country, and the humanitarian crisis that is taking place there is nothing

other than catastrophic.

Despite the fact that the country is one of the largest and richest countries in mineral reserves, people rarely receive any profit

from their national resources.

Sudan

Sudan suffers from many modern problems.

Among them are violent crime, kidnapping, robbery, and terrorism.

The Nile River is experiencing frequent flooding, and local infrastructure, including roads, railways, energy and water systems,

is in dire need of repair.

People don’t have to hope for the leadership of their country, since even the president of the country, Omar al-Bashir, was declared

a criminal by the International Criminal Court.

Zimbabwe

Robert Mugabe, President of Zimbabwe until 2017, practically ruined his country's economy.

What used to be a rich country is now one of the poorest regions in the world, suffering from the collapse of agriculture and

the diamond industry, leading to unemployment and food shortages.

Pripyat, Ukraine

This Ukrainian city is most famous for the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in 1986, which led to the evacuation

of the entire city due to the high level of radiation. Now the only inhabitants here are wild beasts.

North Korea

About a million people die from hunger in this country every year, and the situation is only getting worse as the state decided to

allocate all its funds to build up its nuclear arsenal.
