1.Stockholm

Stockholm - a beautiful city , situated on 14 islands , the capital of Sweden and largest city in Scandinavia .

The city was founded in the 13th century .

In Stockholm awarded the Nobel Prize every year , you can visit the Vasa Museum , dedicated to the ship 17 - th century , which sank on

 its maiden flight , it is the most visited museum in Scandinavia .

Stockholm  offers free admission to 15 museums , including the Swedish history , the Middle Ages Museum , Royal Armouries, and Skokloster castle

 . you can also take a ride on yachts , boats , or take a boat on rent .



2.Gotland

As the largest Swedish island , surrounded on all sides by the Baltic  Sea , one might think , that fishing is the main industry of the island .

However, this is not the case . One of the main industries here are agriculture , tourism and information technology .

The island is one of the most popular Swedish tourist destinations , because of sunlight throughout the year there are more , than anywhere else

in Sweden . Visby , the only town on the island , with a beautiful wall of the Hanseatic  city , which has retained much of its historic buildings .

The city also still remained about 100 medieval churches and countless prehistoric monuments .



3.Gothenburg

Gothenburg , located on the west coast of Sweden , - it is a green town , dotted with numerous parks of any size .

 The history of many parks dates back to the 19th century . The largest port city in Scandinavia , Gothenburg boasts the region's largest festival ,

as well as numerous music festivals throughout the year .



4.Swedish Lapland

If you are looking for a real adventure , there's no better place to visit in Sweden , than in the Swedish Lapland , located in the far north of the

Arctic Circle , where the summer sun shines around the clock .

In the Swedish Lapland, home to hardy Saami , who live in the vast forests and barren tundra .



5.Uppsala

Uppsala , located at 70 kilometers north of Stockholm , is the religious center of Sweden  since the 12 th century .

Before Christianity , Uppsala was famous idols of the Scandinavian gods .

Uppsala Cathedral , the Archbishop of Sweden , the largest cathedral in Scandinavia .

 Uppsala University , which was founded in 1477 year , it is one of the oldest colleges in Scandinavia . Furis River flows through the city .



6.Stockholm archipelago

If you are traveling to the islands , you will love the Stockholm   archipelago .

8.Malmo

buildings . In the third largest Swedish city has a wonderful Old Town ( Gamla Shtoda ) with three main areas

 : Stortoget, Lilla Torg and Gustav Adolf bargaining .

It is a cosmopolitan city , where 150 nationalities are connected via the Oresund bridge from Denmark .



9.Marstrand

Marstrand - an ancient city , known since 1200 the year , is now known for two things : sports and the old fortress .

Here, in the district of Primorye , is located on an island in western Sweden , hosts the annual match Swedish Cup , an important sailing competition .
