Circular Bridge Laguna Garzon in Uruguay

During the construction of the bridges, engineers and architects are not always looking for the shortest distance to connect two points.

 The new ring bridge over the lagoon Garzon on the southern coast of Uruguay - one such example.

The design consists of two semi-circular bridge, connected at the ends, to create a complete ring, and was built, to replace the ferry service

between the towns of Rocha and Maldonado.
