1.Ubud, Bali


               Spiritual energy in Bali is generally very powerful and intense and flows in a very balanced and positive way. 

               However, the heart and soul of this beautiful island paradise lies in the serene jungle of Ubud. 

               This small town is considered Bali's legendary spiritual haven and exudes ancient wisdom and modern charm.
               Ubud is known for its Balinese temples, vegan cuisine, lush landscapes, rice paddies, and even yoga.
               Ubud abounds in divine and spiritual sites, with many temples, sacred sites and holy springs.

 

 

2.Varanasi, India.


           Known as the "Spiritual Heart of India", Varanasi is the oldest city in India and is located on the banks of the Ganges.

           Each part of this city exudes spirituality - a river, colorful people, constant sounds of soothing prayers from different

           corners and nooks.

           This historic city dates back to the 11th century BC and attracts millions of Hindu pilgrims every year who bathe

           in the sacred water of the Ganges River to purify their souls.

           Hindus also visit Varanasi for funeral rites.

           One of the most breathtaking spectacles you'll see every night in the city is the intricate, colorful Puja rituals

           (a form of Hindu worship conducted by the Brahmins) on the steps of Dasaswamedh Ghat, which attracts hundreds

           of visitors every day and is guaranteed to take your breath away.
           The city is also an important spiritual site for Buddhists.

           It is believed that the Buddha gave his first sermon and founded Buddhism in 528 BC in a place near Varanasi.

 

 

3.Cape Reinga, New Zealand


               Traditionally known as Rerenga Vairua, Cape Reinga is located at the northern tip of New Zealand's North Island.

               It is where the Tasman Sea and the Pacific Ocean collide and is sacred to the Maori people, the indigenous

               Polynesian people of mainland New Zealand.

               According to Maori mythology, Cape Reinga is considered a "jumping place for spirits."

               They believe that the souls of the recently deceased Maori are using this place to finally leave Earth and enter

               the afterlife. Hence, the place is of great spiritual importance as the Maori feel connected to their ancestors here.

 

4.Angkor Wat, Cambodia

 

               Located in northern Cambodia, Angkor Wat is a historical group of temples dating back to the 12th century. 

               Angkor Wat is translated as “city of temples” or simply “city temple” and was built as a Hindu temple by

               Emperor Suryavarman II, and later, in the 14th century, it was converted into a Buddhist temple. 

               Spread over 400 acres, this area is home to many important structures, sculptures and statues. 

               It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the temple is considered the largest religious monument in the world.

               Beyond its awe-inspiring structures, the entire Angkor Wat complex is full of vibrant and positive energy. 

               People from all walks of life and religions have visited this place for many years to seek spirituality, healing,

               peace and energy amidst its architectural beauty.

 

5.Adam's Peak, Sri Lanka


                Also known as Sri Pada, or “sacred trail,” Adam's Peak is the most famous mountain in Sri Lanka and stands proudly

                at almost 2,286 meters.

                A 1.5-meter depression in the rock at the very top of the peak has made the mountain an extremely valuable holy

                site for four religions.

                Buddhists believe that this is the footprint of the Buddha; Hindus believe that this is the footprint of Lord Shiva,

               and Christians and Muslims consider this place a sign of Adam's first step outside the Garden of Eden.

 

 


6.Mount Kailash, Tibet Autonomous Region, China


               Mount Kailash, located in a remote corner of Western Tibet, rises to a height of 6,714 meters and is considered

               sacred by millions of Buddhists, Bonts, Jains and Hindus around the world.

               The heavenly beauty of this majestic mountain is widely regarded as the ultimate pilgrimage destination.

               Every part of this area is, in fact, sacred and steeped in many legends and mythical stories from ancient scriptures

               and oral traditions.

               Millions of pilgrims embark on long hikes across the Himalayas to reach Kailash and make the kora, a clockwise

               pilgrimage around the mountain, about 52 km long.

               Buddhists and Hindus believe that completing one crust liberates the bad karma of one life.

               Even as you do the bark, you will be greeted with absolutely stunning views that are sure to stay with you for life.

               Pilgrims also dive into the icy waters of Lake Mansarovar, located at the foot of the mountain, to find salvation.

 

7.Uluru, Australia


                  Also known as Ayers Rock, Uluru is a 550 million-year-old massive sandstone formation in northern Australia.

                  Although the site may not be well known around the world, this bright red monolith is considered the cultural

                  and spiritual heart of Australia.

                 Off the beaten track in the vast hinterland of Central Australia, Uluru is a sacred site for Indigenous Australians

                 and has attracted spiritual seekers for years.

                 Once here, you will experience local Australian culture, observe ancient spiritual rituals and surround yourself with the                       peace and quiet of nature. 

                 The area surrounding the mystical formation has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

 

 

8.Mount Shasta, California


               Mount Shasta in Northern California is an active volcano 4267 meters high and the second highest peak in the

               Cascades Massif. Native American tribes have historically believed that the mountain could be the center of the

               universe or even the birthplace of the "Creator."

               It is the site of many legends and attracts spiritual seekers from all over the planet.

               People often visit this place not only because of its unearthly beauty, but also for spiritual growth, healing,

              greater understanding of themselves and finding out what their life purpose is.

              There are those who come to Mount Shasta just to feel its positive energy.

              According to the Mount Shasta Chamber of Commerce, the mountain attracts about 26,000 visitors annually,

             but more than half of them seek spiritual growth here. Mount Shasta is also considered the root chakra of the earth.

 

 

9.Temple Chain, Japan


             Also known as the 88 Temple Pilgrimage, or Shikoku Pilgrimage, the Temple Circle in Japan is a 1200-kilometer circle

             that runs between 88 temples on Shikoku Island.

             The pilgrimage was initiated by the Buddhist priest Kukai (774-835 CE) and follows the path he followed.

             It is believed that by visiting some or all of these temples, especially on foot, one can fully realize oneself and

            achieve true spirituality.

            The route is divided into four parts, and each part also represents a separate stage of the journey.

            The 88 temples in the chain also symbolize various meanings: temples 1-23 symbolize awakening, 24-39 symbolize

            austerity and discipline, 40-65 symbolize the attainment of enlightenment, and 66-88 symbolize entering nirvana.

            About 10,000 pilgrims visit the circumnavigation and temples annually. Interestingly, the trail can be started or

            completed anywhere.

           This route was originally a Buddhist venture. But today people of different faiths from all over the world are taking part

           in this spiritual and enlightening journey, which is considered to be soul-enriching.

 

 

10.Sedona, Arizona


            Filled with positive vibes, this small Arizona town is the perfect place to spiritually and personally enrich body and soul.

            This is interesting because there are no major churches, no relics, or any established holy sites in Sedona.

            So what makes it special? This place is said to be the center of attraction for many energy vortices that locals and

            visitors alike attach great importance to.

            Situated about 160 km south of the Grand Canyon, Sedona is filled with these "energy points" along with

            magnificent landscapes that have gradually earned it the name of "America's spiritual Mecca."

            It was in the 1980s when an American psychic named Paige Bryant identified the vortices in Sedona that he gained

            his fame.

            Spiritual energy is said to be at the highest point of these vortices. Thus, having reached them, you can connect

            to the frequencies of the universe.

            Today, the city is home to a multitude of wellness centers for aura reading, map reading, yoga, meditation, alternative

             medicine and mindfulness.
