세계 최고의 marathons 대회10

1.Marathon de Sables, Morocco

The legendary Marathon de Sables is one of the most difficult long-distance races in the world.

Laden with backpacks, participants venture out onto the track through the sultry Sahara desert during a six-day

ultra-marathon that spans 257 km of golden dunes and rocky plateaus.

More than 13,000 runners have participated in this extreme desert event since 1986, and its popularity continues today.

2.International Big Sur Marathon, USA

The California Big Sur region is truly amazing for its stunning views.

Now, in its 34th year, the Big Sur International Marathon follows an exciting route along the Pacific coast between

the Big Sur station and Carmel.

Starting under the canopy of giant sequoias, rivals rush along bridges and through gentle hills.

The sparkling ocean and rocky mountains of Santa Lucia accompany them along the highway.

3.Marathon Great Wall of China

For those who like to quickly see the sights, the Great Wall Marathon is an unforgettable way to see one of China's most

famous sights.

Thanks to the dizzying climbs of the wall sections, as well as the paths through the fields and villages, this is a demanding

mountain route.

But although a steep slope can reduce the number of runners who dare to climb up the ancient steps of the Great Wall

of China, the views are magnificent and the villagers offer support along the route.

4.Lakeland Trails Ultra, UK.

London may be one of the best marathons in the world, but the Lakeland Trails Ultra is arguably the most picturesque

 in the UK.

Starting at Ambleside in the Lake District, a challenging 55-kilometer route winds through rugged hills and valleys.

The wavy, mountainous terrain means that this is not a race for marathon runners, but this endurance test event offers

a close encounter with one of the wildest and most beautiful regions of England.

For truly heroic athletes there is also a 100-kilometer route!

5.Bhutan International Marathon, Bhutan

Sandwiched between India and Tibet, distant Bhutan is the site of sacred monasteries, Himalayan peaks and wooded valleys.

Participants in the annual Bhutanese marathon cross bridges decorated with bright Buddhist prayer flags and run through

rice fields and farms: all at high altitude.

With a route that passes some of the biggest attractions of the Paro Valley, including the steep Taktsang Monastery,

there are many interesting and memorable places here.

6.Big Five Marathon, South Africa

Declared “the wildest of all,” the Big Five marathon offers participants the opportunity to see elephants, rhinos and

leopards as they run through the South African savannah.

Sandy paths and dirt paths wind past lakes, grazing wild animals and rocky hills.

Part of the track even crosses the country of Lviv, where big cats can convince some runners to speed up.

7.Australian Outback Marathon, Australia

Founded by seasoned runner Marie-Mar Walton in 2010, the Outback Marathon follows a private red earth route through

an Australian bush past the looming sandstone monolith of Uluru.

Camels and kangaroos watch hundreds of athletes cover a relatively flat loop, experiencing the amazing desert of the

Northern Territory at an accelerated pace.

8.Arctic Circle Marathon, Greenland

Wearing woolen hats, gloves and windproof sports equipment, hardy participants in the small Greenland Arctic Circle

marathon experience freezing temperatures and icy surfaces as they run through the shimmering Arctic tundra.

The bright blue sky and snow-covered trails create an impressive marathon landscape where runners can see arctic foxes

and musk oxen in their natural habitat.

9.Jungle Marathon, Brazil

When the traditional road marathon no longer fills the blood with adrenaline, you can try to take part in the grueling Jungle

 Marathon in Brazil.

The organizers of the event call it "the worst adventure in the world."

The simplest one-day marathon option in this Eco-Race passes through rainforests, swamps and piranha-infested rivers.

However, addicts of marathons can also choose a distance with six stages, a total length of 254 km of struggle across

the Amazon.

Competitors catch river boats to the base camp in the Tapayos National Forest and sleep in hammocks stretched between

the trees.

10.Reggae Marathon, Jamaica

From its “pasta party” to the roaring reggae music along every mile of the race, the Reggae marathon in Negril, Jamaica

is a fun event.

Marathon runners from all over the world gather at the starting point in the dawn darkness, setting off along the snow-white

coastline in the light of torches.

Orchestras and jubilant spectators create a festive atmosphere throughout the flat, loop route, and as soon as runners

cross the finish line on the beach, they can make a holiday immersion in the Caribbean.
