세계에서 가장 위험한 도로 10

1.Route from Jalalabad to Kabul, Afghanistan

Several roads are marked as “most dangerous”.
However, traveling on this 65-kilometer freeway from Jalalabad to Kabul justifies the real meaning of its movement through the Taliban.

The danger side of this road has nothing to do with the war: it is a narrow, winding road that rises 600 meters along the Kabul gorge,
and Afghan drivers here recklessly overtake fully loaded trucks.

2.Death road in bolivia

Earlier, the Inter-American Development Bank declared it the most dangerous road in the world.

The road from La Paz to Coroico abruptly breaks off at the edge of a cliff.

For cyclists, this road becomes their playground, which is actually dangerous.

Crowded buses and local trucks here maneuver dangerously and sometimes fly off a cliff, killing 200-300 people a year.

3.Iraqi Death Highway

US planes bombed Iraqi trucks and tanks along Highway 80 from Kuwait to Basra.

This happened in February 1991 during the 1st Gulf War. As a result, 2,700 destroyed vehicles remained on the highway,

marking this road in history as the “Highway of Death”.

The number of deaths has never been accurately determined and is estimated to range from about 300 to 10,000 people.

The war ended a few days after pictures of charred bodies and burnt cars were televised around the world.

4.Zoe La Pass Pass in India

Located between Ladakh and Kashmir, the Zoe La Pass is a mountain route that looks like a dusty road through the western Himalayas. However, this road maintains the connection of the Ladakh community with the outside world, even though in winter it is often blocked

by heavy snowfall.

5.Tunnel of Guolyan Taihan mountains in China

This Guoliang tunnel is located in Henan province in China and terrifies drivers these days.

In 1972, this tunnel was built mainly with hand tools.

Some sections have an open edge above the rocky cliff, so it was called the “road that does not tolerate errors”, which is clearly

appropriate.

6.Coastal route in Croatia

In this country, an average of 11,650 traffic accidents occur annually, and there is no doubt that Croatia is on the list of the most

dangerous roads in the world with the Association for Safe International Traffic.

Speeding and overload are the problems that drivers face along the Adriatic coastal route, which is well known for its sharp turns

and the lack of safety barriers.

7.The Widow Maker Road in the United Kingdom

In 2006-2008, there were 34 serious fatal accidents.

That's why in 2010, the Road Safety Fund named this scenic country road in the Peak District of England the most dangerous route

 in the United Kingdom.

8.Los Caracoles Pass in Chile

Steep, dizzying curves twisting through the Andes among Assumption, Argentina and Los Andes, Chile.

Secluded place about 3,176 meters above sea level. However, this road is also used by tour guides when it is not blocked by

snow in the winter.

9.Highway Karakoram in Pakistan

This highway connects Pakistan and China, and at the Hongjerab Pass, it reaches 4,693 meters above sea level.

The road in Pakistan is unpaved, and even worse, this highway is prone to floods and landslides.

However, the road remains a tourist attraction as it passes past spectacular gorges along the old Silk Road.

The government that built the road called it the Friendship Highway, despite the deaths of 82 Chinese and 810 Pakistani workers

during construction.

10. Stelvio Pass in Italy

This route resembles a child’s scribble. So, never be fooled by crossing the Stelvio Pass in the Italian Alps.

A mountain cliff that is so steep that you don’t need to look at it at all.

This route rises about 2 kilometers, and only a low concrete barrier stands between the road and the steep precipice.
