신비스런 New Zealand의 Pancake Rocks

One of the most amazing places in New Zealand is Pancake Rocks.

Located on the west coast in Paparoa National Park.

They got their name because of their unusual shape.

Rocks resemble piles of stacked pancakes.

They were formed 30 million years ago as a result of erosion of limestone rocks.

Their layering is explained by the fact that the rocks that make up the “pancake stacks” have different densities.

Over time, water and wind carved out intricate carvings on the rocks that rose from the depths of the sea.
