Copenhill Power Station, as well as a sports rooftop ski slope in Copenhagen (Denmark)

First introduced back in 2011, Bjarke Ingels Group is a power station in Copenhagen with a “smoke ring generator” that 

will emit steam in the form of a ring every time 250 kg of carbon dioxide. 

The building is also crowned by a ski slope for visitors and locals.

The power plant itself is already working, but the roof with a ski slope is currently being tested and is expected to be open 

in April.

Underwater Snøhetta, Norway

After completion of construction, people can relax here on the seabed, 5 m below the sea surface.

The first underwater restaurant opened in Snøhetta in 2017. 

Recently, engineers were preparing to immerse it and secure it to the bottom of the sea in Norway.

The building has an area of ​​600 square meters. m and thick concrete walls. 

It is expected that the underwater restaurant will be open for booking in spring 2019.

One Thousand Museum (architects of the Zaha Hadid Group), Miami (USA).

The one Thousand Museum rises to a height of 215 m. 

At the end of life, Zaha Hadid designed the one Thousand Museum, a glass-reinforced white concrete exoskeleton 

that twists as it rises to a maximum height of 215 m. 

The residential project targets wealthy people and has six-star residences . 

It includes a total of 83 apartments with an area from 427 to 919 square meters. 

Each room has several balconies, and the building overlooks the famous Biscayne Bay in Miami.

Hatcherwick Studio, New York (USA).

Looking like a strange cross between a large pineapple and a work of art, the facility will be at the center of massive 

development at Hudson Yard in New York, and is currently the largest private development project in US history.

With a cost of $ 150 million for what, in fact, is just a fancy point of view, the structure will rise to a height of 45 meters 

and will include 54 adjacent staircases, 2500 individual steps and 80 platforms, as well as an elevator for disabled people. 

This facility should be completed in the next few months.

Daxing International Airport Terminal in Beijing (China)

Terminal of Beijing Daxing International Airport is designed again by the architects of the Zaha Hadid group.

 It should be the largest airport terminal in the world. It is expected to open in September 2019.

The huge building was created in collaboration with the architects "ADP Ingeniérie" and has the shape of a massive 

starfish, with a total area of ​​700,000 square meters. 

Ultimately, the terminal will receive 100 million passengers a year and, apparently, can also boast sustainable technologies. 

Without a doubt, we will learn more about it as soon as it opens at the end of 2019.

Gardenhouse, California (USA)

Architectural firm MAD Architects planned to complete the construction of its project at the end of 2018, but now 

commissioning is expected this year. 

The Gardenhouse consists of a large catwalk, conceived as an artificial mountain, with 18 houses on top. 

The podium will be covered with greenery and contain commercial premises for rent at ground level.

While implementing the project, some potential problems have arisen, such as noise and pollution, but it will be interesting 

to see if the firm can achieve its goal, creating the feeling of a mountain village in Beverly Hills, California.

Lakhta Center, Saint-Pereburg (Russia)

The height of Lakhta center is 462 meters, which makes it significantly more than other high-rise buildings in the world. 

At the end of construction, the bullet-shaped “Lakhta Center”, which ascended above St. Petersburg, will take the 13th 

place in the ranking of the tallest buildings in the world and will be the tallest tower in Europe.

Its construction took more than six years and attracted 20,000 people from 18 countries. 

The foundation required that the concrete be poured continuously for 49 hours, and its glazing is 72,500 square meters. 

The Lakhta Center should be officially completed shortly.
