1.Palus Falls, Palous Falls State Park, Washington

 

   Almost 60 meters high, the Palus Falls violently falls off the cliff and flows into the Palus River. 

   In February 2014, it was awarded the title of Official State Falls of Washington.

 

 

2.Niagara Falls, Niagara Falls, New York

   What Niagara Falls lacks in height, it more than overlaps with its length. 

   Three separate falls make up the great Niagara Falls, which sits on the border between the United States and Canada, between 

   New York and Ontario.

 

 

3.Alamere Falls, Marine County, California

 

Alamere Falls is located on the coast of Point Reyes.

 It has a total of four rapids, the longest of which is 12 meters.

 

 

4.Grand Falls, Navajo, Arizona

The Grand Falls is about 56 meters high and is also known as Chocolate Falls because of its murky waters. 

It is located in the Navajo Desert near Flagstaff, Arizona.

 

 

5.Yosemite Falls, Yosemite National Park, California

 

At 739 meters high, Yosemite Falls is considered the tallest waterfall in North America. 

The cascade is divided into three parts: Upper Yosemite, Near and Lower Yosemite.

 

6.Sliding Rocks Falls, Pisgah National Park, North Carolina

There is no doubt how this waterfall got its name. 

The Sliding Rocks are a kind of natural water slide created by Mother Nature herself. 

People can safely slide the waterfall down a 60-meter incline slide into the small pool.

 

 

7.Manawaiopuna Falls, Kauai, Hawaii

You saw this waterfall in Steven Spielberg's epic Jurassic Park.

 Manavayopun Falls is located in the Hanaperpe Valley on the island of Kauai. 

It is located on a private property, but can be viewed during a helicopter tour.

 

 

8.Rabi Chattanooga Falls, Tennessee

This underground waterfall falls from a height of 44 meters through a vertical shaft in the Lookout Mountains of Tennessee. 

The stream that flows underground feeds the waterfall.
